Below is a list of the leadership roles we need volunteers to fill for the 2026-2027 year. If you are interested, please respond to the form above or let one of the existing Pack leaders know.l:
Assistant Cubmaster
This position has the expectation that you will transition to Cubmaster in the fall of 2027. It’s a great opportunity to see what the Cubmaster does and learn the ins and outs while we have an experienced Cubmaster still in place. The Assistant Cubmaster supports the Cubmaster in leading the Cub Scout pack. This includes assisting with various pack activities, helping plan and execute meetings, and being ready to step in for the Cubmaster when needed. Attends monthly Roundtables. They also attend monthly Roundtables.
Advancement Chair (Assist in 2026, Transition to lead in 2027-2028)
(Kim Rivera leading) The Advancement Chair is a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work our scouts put in.
Outdoor/Quartermaster Coordinator
This combined role helps plan, arrange, and oversee outdoor events for the Cub Scout Pack. They are also responsible for keeping an inventory of all supplies and gear for campouts and pack events, and uniforms. They ensure equipment is in good working order, and for keeping equipment clean, making suggestions for new or replacement items, and maintaining proper storage in the Pack Trailer. The Quartermaster does not have to go on all campouts in order to maintain the trailer. They are expected to help with food shopping for pack campouts when possible.
Assistant Treasurer
Assist the current treasurer, Ken and most importantly help with Zelle payments for the pack.
Temporary Lion Den Leader
This is a temporary commitment until a Lion Parent has taken over the role this year. Take over for the first two meetings and help get the leader for the year up to speed.
Assistant Membership Chair
Assist Lauren with memberhip duties. The expectation is that this position will transition to Membership Chair lead in 2027-2028 year.
BALOO Training
- Stands for: Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation
- The pack is required to have at least one BALOO-trained leader present on all Cub Scout pack overnights.
- Pack 720 has only 4 adults trained. Next year 2 are leaving and 2 are in the same family.
- This FREE training is created to equp Cub Scout leaders with the knowledge and skills to plan and execute safe and successful outdoor adventures, including overnight camping trips. It involved an oernight camping experience where leaders learn hands-on skills like cooking, first aid, campfire building, hiking and more.

2026-2027 Volunteer requirements
As we prepare for another great year, we want to ensure our scouts have the best experience possible. To make this happen, we are asking every parent to volunteer for one of the following roles:
- Serve as a Pack Leader: We are currently seeking an Advancement Chair, an Assistant Cub Master (with the expectation of transitioning to Cub Master in Fall 2027), an Outdoor/Quartermaster Coordinator, an Assistant Treasurer, a Temporary Lion Den leader, and an assistant Membership Chair.
- Lead a Pack Meeting.
- Organize a Campout, Extracurricular Activity or Complete Baloo Training.
